The story of Jutera began when we were tired of seeing mass produced items on the shelves of stores worldwide. We longed for the time when personalization and customization were king. When you knew the person who was tailoring your clothing, the person who hand-wove your bag, or even made your meal. There is something special about that feeling. When Jutera was first born, we idealized a future where people could buy Jute bags, hand woven by artists in India. We'd put a face to the product that customers worldwide could connect with.

As we've evolved, those roots still hold true. It's a Jute Era. An era where personalization rules. An era where all shopping and advertising can learn from a simple rule. Behind every product and service are real people. Real people creating products and real people consuming them. Advertising has tried to create a barrier for too long.
